The weave is carved in relief between two raised rails, worked by hand in solid .925 sterling silver and oxidised so the cords and the thorn points lift bright against the blackened ground behind them. This depth of carving is something cast rings cannot hold, and the hand-applied finish means no two pieces are ever identical. You feel it before you see it: 11 grams of silver, 10mm wide, with the interior polished smooth against the finger. Stamped and hallmarked. Never plated, never filled. Oxidised silver is not meant to stay pristine. It darkens in the recesses and brightens where you touch it, so the ring slowly records the years you give it.
