Once a year the cherry tree gives everything it has at once. In Japan, people still gather beneath the branches to celebrate it, a tradition called hanami that has marked the arrival of spring for over a thousand years. That is what Sakura celebrates: the season met in full, nothing held back. Worn as a reminder that this is your season, or given to someone who is exactly that to you.

Each blossom and branch is carved in relief around the full circumference of the band, worked by hand in solid .925 sterling silver, then oxidised by hand so the petals rise bright out of the darkened ground. This depth of carving is something cast rings cannot hold, and the hand-applied finish means no two pieces are ever identical. You feel it before you see it: 9 grams of silver, 7.5mm wide, with the interior polished smooth against the finger. Stamped and hallmarked. Never plated, never filled.

The finish is built to live with you: oxidised silver darkens in the recesses and brightens where you touch it, so the ring slowly records the years you give it. It wears alone or stacks with Lotus.
